Turtlegrass Resort and Island Club is in the heart of the Exumas on Big Sampson Cay, a 121-acre island packed with national treasures from the curly-tailed lizard on land to the fish, rays, conch, sea turtles and even the occasional dolphin running through its famous channel. The island’s high elevation protects it from storms and its shallow lagoons full of seagrass keep its shoreline an active part of the ecosystem of the southern Bahamas.
